    Exactly.

The *****s were so giddy that Floyd "agreed" to the fight, that they overlooked the most important aspect of it,

    signing the damn contract.

Floyd also "agreed" to fight Antonio Margarito.

Why did Pac sign? Because his boss told him to. What choice did he have?

I think gloves play a small part in a fight like this. Due to the style of PBF. In the UK all fights are 10 ounce mandatory. I think with Cotto the 10 ounce gloves would have helped him more than PBF. The size of the ring and the ref to me will be more important if its 8 ounce or 10 ounce gloves. PBF will go on his bike alot and he dosent get hit alot with clean blows anyway. IF its an 18 feet ring or smaller than Pac can cut off the ring easier. A ref who allows fighters to clinch more will be better for PBF, while those who break them fast as Kenny Bayless will help Pac. Joe Cortez pretty much allowed Camacho to do excessive holding and only took 1 point away in the Camacho vs Trinidad fight. Camacho was trying to avoid his first KO and probably deserved a DQ for excessive holding-Cortez gave him like 20 warnings LOL.

I think part of the PBF plan is to beat manny to the punch and than grab quickly to avoid counter.
