I don't think any of those guys called Jones out in that fashion. I know that Benn wanted to fight him, but also admitted that he was shooked of Jones and feared him but would still fight him(respect for that)

Jones did duck a ****load of fighters though. Not because he though he couldn't beat them, but because he liked to play it safe and would rather fight easier guys and look good.

Toney never ducked or was scared of anybody though. And you should give him his credit for calling Euank/Benn the way he called them out. He called them chumps, bums and whatnot in an English Tv program. If that didn't give Ben/Eubank a reason to fight him than I don't know what would.

That was a robbery my man. Learn to know when you see one.

      I call that ducking.
Because that's how fights are made?!!!

As for ducking somebody, my definition would be something akin to Rid**** Bowe ****ting bricks and throwing his title in the bin when he realised his fat mouth was talking him into an ass whipping from Lewis.

Steve Collins confronted Roy after Roy had fought some bum.
I dont know why Benn or Eubank never fought Toney but Benn wouldnt duck anybody.
You do know that when Benn was shot he faced 1-3 odds on betting favourite Gerald Mclellan who was going to destroy Benn.
Here in England our own paper the telegraph said that if G-man didnt win the title it would be sensational..thats how much of an under dog Benn was at the time because of Geralds KO streak and Benn being shot.
If he faced him when he was shot then believe me he would have faced Toney when he was round his prime if the chance arose.
The man went to the states to beat an American for his world title,he feared no one.

My definition of ducking is being called a bum and a pu$$y on Natinal TV infront of your countrymen and keeping your mouth shut and the only thing you have to say is "You are ignorant".......Huh!!! Was Toney supposed to be an intellectual or a fighter..which one?

Another case of Ducking would be when Lenox retired so he wouldn't have to rematch Vitali. Vitali practically begged him for a rematch and even claimed for years that Lenox promised him one.

Forget about Roy. Roy goes down in history for ducking (even though he was clearly better than the rest)

MClallen did almost destroy him but Ben fought his heart out and overturned the fight. He didn't duck MClellan and I'm sure he always liked to fight the best...But not in Toney's case. I think he was scared ****less of Toney

And btw Roy wasn't really that much of a ducker as I exaggerated above lol. He did in fact fight toney when no1 else would and that's not something to be overlooked

He also fought tough fighters like Griffin, Virgil Hill, McCallum

Mcclellan was a beast man,he was awesome.
Even a shot Benn wanted to fight Roy Jones knowing at that stage he would have been beaten easily.
What was so fearsome about Toney?
If the fight could have been made it would have happened,Benn prob wanted it in England whereas Toney wanted it in the States.
Benn was a huge draw in England, his second fight with Eubank had an attendance of 42,000 and 18.5m watched on Television.
Why should he go to the States infront of a crappy attendance for less money?
