Martinez is just another level to Quintana period, If Williams wins this one he belongs in the top half of pound for pound lists because this is a MUCH harder fight for him to win style wise than kelly pavlik

Pardon my French, but are you ***in ******ed?? Martinez absolutely does NOT throw that many punches per round. His average is 50ish. He was throwing in the 20's in some of those rounds against Cintron. Why do you think he lost? He don't have workrate. The mother***er throws one or two shots and dances for half the round. That just ain't gonna cut it against Williams. Quintana and Martinez are very much comparable. If you can't see that, you're blind.

Guys, the thing to understand about sparring for a top level fight is that generally you won't find a TOP level guy who emulates your future opponent's style perfectly.
It's about finding sparring partners who share similar qualities, attributes, etc.
And of course Quintana, a southpaw, who moves and has a decent jab is the only man to have beaten Williams. Nor is he some C or D- fighter. Quintana is perfect.

this is good for quintana..... if williams called him is because he know that quintana can help him... and this may help to increase quintana's confidence!!!
also this show the professionalism of the punisher!!! i respect him more every day... the only fighter climbing his mountain the hardway!!!!!!
