Hung out with Bruce Seldon last month. Genial, friendly, and seemed to know his place in boxing and was content. Told me he was retired, but introduced me to his son, who is training to be a fighter. I think Seldon should get some respect just for being a former WBA World Champion and for being a pro boxer.Comment

What a joke of a fight. Seldon has been known to 'flop' or 'dive' when faced with tough opposition. Frankly, he sucks. Oquendo would have been a much better choice. However, this fight is 2 1/2 months away, so there's a good possibility that there will be an opponent change..Comment

According to the New Zealand Herald, David Tua (50-3, 43KOs) will face former heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon (40-8, 36KOs) on February 7 in Atlantic City. Tua returns from two-round knockout of Shane Cameron from October. Seldon hasn't fought since July, when he was stopped by Fres Oquendo in nine rounds. So much for a step up in class, Seldon will not last long. [Click Here To Read More]
Tua's gonna rip his head off....Tua KO round 6Comment

funny seeing as tua said he wasnt going to waste time fighting second tier opponents anymore. He said this right after the cameron fight and it was posted here on boxingscene. he wanted a top 10 contender
now we hear he doesnt even have the possibility to do so, he mustve known a couple of months ago so why would he make such a promise to his fans?
maori tv turned him down. that's why all the arreola talks shut down after maori tv refused to get bought out.
