    what proof do you need?

he's not on hbo or showtime.

he doesn't have the backing of a big boxing country like say germany or britain.

tua is too much risk and no reward.

the only reason cameron's people put him up against tua is because they thought tua was shot.

after seeing what he did to cameron , how many promoters do you think are calling tua's people for a fight with their fighter?

The sad thing is that Seldon would have gotten Ko'd at any point in their careers. He's always had a weak chin nad Tua will always be a big puncher.. This is a ridiculous fight. Seldon recently was knocked out by Kevin Johnson who is not in any way a big puncher. I have zero interest in this fight.

Although this is an easy fight, its good for Tua. A second dramatic and early KO win (since his return) might be step towards getting him some backing by a network again, then we can see better opposition.

tua is still a name that gets attention in this heavyweight division hardly any of the guys at hw now have any kind of casual fan base that would make them any more marketable then tua if guys like arreola haye ect are ducking tua right now why would they do so arreola has just took on vitaly who seems to be the much bigger challenge right now between the 2 and if a guy like haye who wants to unify the belts is ducking tua who hasnt had a big fight in years what does that say about him until you offer proof that any of the fighters who would make tua a better fight is ducking him then show it other wise stop acting like he is being ducked and has no other choice

Tua had a chance to fight Arreola about a year ago and priced himself out. Cameron is a C level fighter at best.Tua has done nothing lately to make those demands and his opponents will never land him on a major network.

this post makes some sense maybe tua is using this fight to get back some of the hype that is necessary to get a big fight but i just hope that this doesnt become a cycle where tua keeps fighting lesser opponents until he gets to the point where he physically cant have a big comeback i would love to see the tuaman destroy wlad and haye and make this division a little more exciting but he has to be in the ring with top guys to make that possible

A major network is not going to invest in Tua until he starts fighting better fighters. He is not being ducked. Arreola wanted that fight and Tua has done nothing to gain any bargaining power. This Seldon fight proves nothing and only makes Tua look worse.

To be honest this is almost exactly what I was just thinking.

There is no point in fighting Tua, sadly it's why he won't get a shot at Haye.

The only way Tua will get anywhere near a title shot is by slowly working his way up, and it will be slow. No top contender would risk fighting Tua.

David is too good for his own good!
