Bernard Hopkins was surprisingly entertaining last night.

Combos, heightened aggression, increased work rate, along with mixing it up and putting defense aside from time to time. Nice performance by Hopkins.

    Yup. Crazy that he's 45.

His defense has slipped a bit and I'm kind of worried now. He was def. really rusty the first 4 rounds. He looked to be getting into stride the last couple of rounds, but it still seems like he has lost a little bit since last year.

He said after the Pavlik fight that he'd start going for the KO more and making fights more exciting.

I give Hopkins a ton of credit, an incredible fighter.

His defense seemed fine when he went into defensive mode. However, he was hit flush about 7 times in the fight, more than he was hit flush in the Pavlik, Calzaghe, and Winky fight combined.

Ornelas put up a better fight then Pavlik or Tarver did. Ornelas last night showed me his offense might actually be better then his brothers Andrade but his brother Andrade still has the better wins under his resume.

Yes that's what I thought too.. He was throwing more combinations than mayweather did against marquez and stood toe to toe at times.. I was impressed..

Was close early...probably cuz Ornelas didn't come to lay down...

I don't like this heavyweight talk though...

Nothing was as entertaining as Trinidad being taken apart piece by piece...the Pavlik fight shocked me at points too...

I love B-Hop but he would get hurt against a small heavyweight like haye.. he should fight dawson or bute and call it a day..
