sum ppl say Chavez and Ricardo Lopez were overrated cuz they fought mostly bums in their undefeated record and shouldnt be HOFers lol

Every Major fighter has a huge list of bums on their records. Thats how prospects are made into contenders and contenders are made into champions.

I thought when I opened this thread that it would contain childish uncivil flaming.

I was wrong. I am impressed by a lot of the thought out answers. Especially the answer regarding the elite countries with major media presence.

U.S.A but a major factor in that is because they produce a larger number of boxers then the rest.

UK is a good shout but that is due to the British fighters usually having a good number of fans behind them. British fans are usually quite loyal incomparison to a number of other countries.
