He's retiring soon so I guess he wants to tie up a loose end and move on with his life. B-Hop is 44 years old so what else does he have to prove other than just doing away with what in my opinion is the only real fighter to ever beat Bernard.

shaw is insane!!! roy and b-hop can sell a million pay per views... regardless of the jones loss. this is the only rematch boxing has been dying to see for almost 20 years... why would they fight for 200k when they can make millions off their names alone lol thats funny. all roy needs is to put on a show against another fighter and the anticipation grows... roy should fight orneales and ko him.. that would make the fight hype grow again... shaw is out his mind!!

1 thing roy has proven over the years and even through these last few is that he still has the same drawing power because he is still exciting to watch.... you can only tell his age when fatigue sets in or when he takes a punch.. other than that he still has the same showman skill and handspeed and quick combonations that fans fell in love with plus this fight is in another world... as far as boxing is concerned the last fight both these fighters had was back in 93 when they fought each other... thats how important this fight is... this is bout settling the score. career records and accomplishments dont mean anything.. this is about redemption for bhop and put up or shut up for roy.

So what happened to Dawson going over to Canada to fight Pascal? That fight will do good at the gate on it's own if it's held there. I guess I could understand why Gary Shaw is reluctant to have Chad fight Pascal in Canada though after the way Funeka got robbed, and I don't blame him. But he's on some bull**** when it comes to trying to convince Hopkins to fight on Dawson's undercard. If anything, Dawson should fight on Hopkins' undercard, because Hopkins is the guy with the name.

I think Hopkins is gonna fight Bute instead of Dawson myself. As good as Dawson is, he has a fan base that is very skim. Hopkins just needs to be worried about getting robbed in Canada. He needs to make sure that Richard Schaefer and Oscar De La Hoya don't have a back door deal to screw him like the Canadian judges screwed Ali Funeka like I mentioned before. Hopkins is sleeping with the devil by being involved with GBP where that is concerned.
