My point was Trinidad, Sheika, Lacy all left Jones to do his thing, even Hanshaw who took him to the ropes was not effective. So it gives the illusion that Roy has something still in him. But when Johnson, Calzaghe and Green pressure him effectivley we really see what Roy has left.
your a fool, they pressured him effectively because they beat him right?

green was getting tagged by jabs all through out before the right hand
calzaghe got knocked down and was getting chin checked on the regular

and this was a past it roy jones

and prince badi ajamu did'nt do bad in pressuring, not at all
the problem was jones was even older, even shotter against calzaghe and green

pressuring a prime jones did'nt do much, just meant you take some very heavy shots in the inside
bryant brannon, merqui sosa and castro learned that the hard way against a prime roy jones

... a great fighter with compassion since he chose to carry the shot but still proud Jones to the final bell.

      Props to Joe.

Why are you giving props to calzaghe??

He would have finished off Jones if he could punch

You don't get what I'm saying at all. No need to call me a fool.

I know Roy is shot and old! Obvious. But that becomes even more obvious when people put the pressure on him. It wasn't obvious in the Trinidad or Lacy fights, because they didn't pressure him.

You're telling me that pressuring prime Roy did nothing. I'm not talking about prime Roy, I'm talking about old Roy.

Btw Calzaghe was put down by a forearm.

A win by decision is not per definition a worse win than a KO.

Pisspac is ****ting on Joe. That's his sole purpose on this board.

why do you keep mentioning it? he got dazed by jones wrist, ok, if it was jones fist he would've stayed down, is that what you mean? or do you just keep mentioning it because you thought it was illegal and should'nt have counted as a knockdown?

In reply to you saying Calzaghe was dropped, like it implies Roy did well to do it. He was dropped by the forearm on the jaw. Thats a human bone smashing against your jaw, not a boxing glove. I'm surpised he even got up to be honest.

If the fight had ended that way I would be questioning its legality, but it didn't have an impact on the fight.

Actually I wasn't saying anything particularly bad about Joe. No need to get your panties in a twist.

A premature stoppage by a cruiserweight proves, well, nothing.
