Joe beat Roy for 11 rounds, and was dropped in round one from a forearm to the chin. He did exactly what he should have done to an old Roy Jones, dominate him over the distance, and for a fighter with damaged hands thats all you can expect.

People could only argue that Green's win makes Calzaghe look **** if Joe had only won a disputed decision or close fight. But he dominated Jones completley, he just doesn't have Green's power.

The other issue is that Calzaghe should never have fought Jones in the first place, and should have fought Pavlik instead, because Jones has nothing when pressured effectivley. As a Calzaghe fan I don't hold the Jones win in any esteem at all.

Thanks. Its a true story.

My point was Trinidad, Sheika, Lacy all left Jones to do his thing, even Hanshaw who took him to the ropes was not effective. So it gives the illusion that Roy has something still in him. But when Johnson, Calzaghe and Green pressure him effectivley we really see what Roy has left.
