Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Roberto Duran

How does this play out? Real answers...Don't just pick Duran because you want to seem like you know your boxing or because you're on the whole "New generations can't beat the old generations" wagon. I'm a big Duran fan so my opinion is a little biased so I'll let everyone else discuss. How does this play out. Oh, and the fight is at 147.

Duran will win by 4th KO,He will be chasing the money who will run around all over the ring and will catch him in the corner and presto. out cold.

Jose Luis Castillo gave Floyd plenty of problems applying pressure. Duran is JLC X1000, he would knock Floyd's head off by the 11th unless Floyd ran like a ***** every second and lost a lopsided decision.

Round 1-3 Duran plods forward throwing some jabs and occasional right hands testing how he can cut off the ring, Mayweather hits him with some pot-shots and counters while on his bike.

Round 4-8 Duran starts putting Mayweather on the ropes while Mayweather does his shoulder role Duran moves side to side, creates angles confusing Mayweathers defence and starts landing shots to the liver/body while throwing a few upstairs - Mayweather is throwing single counters whenever he can then back on his bike with Duran cutting off the ring again.

Round 9-10 Mayweather is feeling the body work and Duran traps him on the ropes landing some hard shots to the body and catches Mayweather flush hurting him, Mayweather sits on the ropes absorbing alot of punishment, trying to survive he eventually gets off the ropes and throws a lead right hand or two while circling around the ring to get away from Duran.

Round 11-12 Duran is once again cutting the ring off, chasing Mayweather while Mayweather throws single shots, Duran eventually gets Mayweather on the ropes again and throws alot of hard body punches while Mayweather hits him with counters and makes sure Duran can't land on his chin.

Goes to the scorecards, not sure what it'd actually be I'd say Duran gets the decision for effective aggresion and more punches thrown but Mayweather would land the cleaner more crisp shots which the judges may favour.

(This is going by todays gloves/12 rounds if it was the old school gloves/15 I'd go for Duran TKO 13-15)

He had a torn rotator cuff..........

In the rematch he waxed Castillo.

He does the same to DUran lopsided UD.....

Guys let's not forget the fight is at 147. Not at 135. I think Duran wins a decision not a KO.

Floyd Mayweather does not, in any universe, under any circumstances, win a lopsided decision over Roberto Duran. Nothing he has ever done supports an opinion like that. And Floyd did not wax Castillo in the rematch, he just won a clear decision rather than a disputed one.

Castillo gave him trouble with a torn rotator cuff and got dominated the second fight... I say mayweather by UD. I know i'm going to get a lot of flack for this but I don't care lol. I've watched a bit of Duran's fights and I think that if floyd measures him, maintains distance, snaps the jab, and doesn't trade like leonard did in the first fight he would be able to beat this cat. He leans forward and kinda squares his feet a lot of the time and utilizing a good stiff jab and shoot that straight as he's coming in could be very effective. I'll add more as people start to pick apart my opinion.
