you got it... Joe needs somebody. His record just took a **** by Jones getting KTFO and a green contender beating Kessler's ass...

Who does Joe have to brag about now? Hopkins? lol

Anything is possible but it took Hopkins months to pack on all that weight with Shilstone's help as well. I don't think he will be able to do it though based on his conditioning last night, he looked a little out of shape.

Common sense? Why even comment on it. It's none of his business unless he's trying to make himself out to be more than he was. I think it's funny how his legacy is being tarnished more by the day and when Dawson dominates Hopkins, the circle will be complete. Eubank and Kessler will have been his best wins and they mean basically f.uck all now. Joe was good, but not as great as everyone would have liked to believe. He lived off of fights that created an illusion and I'm glad it's finally coming to the surface and he's being exposed. The way he acted like he was doing something againt old Roy was discusting to me and he knew better than to get in there with a live dog like Dawson.

          Stay Retired

Calzaghe lost all credibility when Kessler got dominated. And when Green did he did to JOnes Jr and all of a sudden Calzaghes career seems inflated. Hopkins career and choice of opponents have dwarfed all of Joes Calzaghes accomplishments at any stage of his career. Calzaghe is the British version of Mayweather Jr, who fought handpicked opponents and whose only real challenge was an over Forty Hopkins and he barely won. If Hopkins were to beat Haye, Calzaghe becomes an afterthought compared to Benard and would put Hopkins on another level of legends. Kinda of reminds me of how Mayweather Jr is jealous of PacMan for being a taking the risks he only dreamed of taking. Calzaghe needs to shut the **** up and go dance like a fairy.

Hopkins doesnt want fights he doesnt think he can win. Especially at this point. If he wants Haye then he knows a way that he can beat him.

Those saying Hopkins can win are fooling yourselves. Haye hasn't got anything to fear about Hopkins he would just out at the bell and lands bombs, Hopkins hasn't got the speed to avoid them, Hayes punches are going to hurt even if you're blocking them. This fight wouldn't go past 3 rounds.

Haye has speed and power, speed and power does not beat a fighter like Hopkins unless you have speed, power, workrate and footwork. Haye doesn't even have stamina.

Haye would be taken to school by Hopkins' counterpunching. It'll be Hopkins vs Tarver all over again.
Rubbish. Ornelas was landing hard right hands that at times looked to have stunned Hopkins. Stunned, not hurt, and Haye is faster and has a much, much better right hand than anything Ornelas has thrown in his whole life. If Hopkins got hit by one of those, it would truly be lights out.

If Ornelas was hitting Hopkins as much as he was, Haye would land some very hard right hands on him too. It would only take one big one and Hopkins is all over the place and at 45 years of age he is not going to recover too quickly from it, which would make it all the more likely for him to get hit again. Bad fight for Hopkins. He would have had a better chance against Valuev.

He wants a shot at David Haye's WBA heavyweight title next year. Hopkins and Haye are both under the Golden Boy Promotions banner. Hopkins was set to fight Roy Jones Jr. in a rematch in March but Jones was stopped by Danny Green in one round in Australia, also on Wednesday.

you guys are overrating Haye's ability especially his power and stamina.. its all good, Bhop prefers to be the underdog anyways.. If he wins, it's going to look that much greater
