Arum says pacquiao will win, and that’s why mayweather has been reluctant to do the fight???? Anyone else think that comment is funny? We’re talking about the same mayweather who came right out after the cotto fight, and said many would be easy work…..then he went on to sign the deal to fight him, after what, a WEEK of negotiations!

On the other side, you have pacman who has kept quiet….you have Freddie roach, who first says floyd would be an easier fight than cotto…..then roach says march 13th is too soon to fight a guy like mayweather, not b/c pacquiao is hurt, but b/c mayweather has a difficult style to prepare for…..WTF? then roach says 60-40 split for pacquiao gets the fight done….after the ppv numbers come out, roach says 50-50 gets it done. Then roach says they’d take the fight on march 13th, BUT FLOYD IS SCARED!!! LMAO!!! Floyd signs the deal for march, now roach wants 60-40 again, and pacquaio’s attorney has stated pacman won’t be fighting at all the first half of 2010. And bob arum has to fly all the way to the phillippines, unannounced, so he can sneak up on manny, convince him to come out from under the bed, and take the fight……

But floyd’s scared right?

There is never concern about mayweathers heart other than by those who have not followed his career. you dont see mayweather giving up, you dont see mayweather not giving it his all if he feels hes behind. thats the thing, hes a safety first guy, if hes ahead, just like hopkins, he doesnt care about the knockouts or anything else, hes the kind of guy who gets off on just humiliating you, at the expense of the crowd in some instances.

Tell me, when mayweather has been down on the scorecards, when has he backed down and gave that "i dont want to continue" look in his corner? Please tell me.

4. Like this or not , he has never been tested and refuses to fight elite welter weights two of which has gone by the wayside, Margo and Cotto. If Mayweather waits long enought Mosley's age will catch him and outside of Williams and a healthy Pacmang he has a highway with no wrecks.

the answer is no...because when they call him, that advisor of his "michael konz" answers the phone and tells them that manny is busy and he'll get back to them...i remember this because during the build of for the cotto fight, pacquiao's lawyer and that konz dude were pissing off freddie roach and he finally got pacquiao's attention because he told those 2 snakes (just like arum) that he will quit and not train pacquiao, since they weren't passing his comments to pacquiao...and u could definitely see that tension in the 24/7series...

as for arum, when they were doing the negotiating for cotto, a reporter asked "when was the last time u spoke with manny", and arum replied "not since the after party for hatton" lol

That's what I thought... I mean honestly I like both... Floyd and Manny... who wins in the end it almost doesn't matter to me... I happy for either one of them... I just think that Manny isn't in Mayweathers league... but we will see...

plz look up the interview where an LA reporter talked about mayweather talking trash after pacquiao's fight over cotto and asked manny "for the record, do u want to fight mayweather?"...and manny replied "for the record, YES"...and when he said it, u could see that he was getting tired of the questions regarding it

The first Castillo fight was close... BUT May won it... I had it 114-112... and I was generous towards Castillo. It's no big secret that no judge in the world does give a body shot the same meaning as an head shot. If it's fair or not you have to conclude for yourself.

1. He has taken all comers on in HIS weight divisions... since moving up he ain't but that goes out to Pac Man as well. Typical Arum BS to give you a reason why Mayweather won't fight his fighters. Leaning up to this fight do have Mayweather heard talking bad about Arum? NO... what did Arum do... do you honestly think he wants to do business with Arum. The only you mention you can make a case of is Margarito. And Margarito was never considered the best at the weight just the toughest... that's all. Cotto at 140 doesn't wanted to fight Floyd (too green) and came into WW as Floyd fought DLH and Hatton and retired. So at WW you can't make any case for Cotto with the exception that this is a fight yourself wants to see.

2. If he did... who else didn't??? I can't remember that there are so many 5 different weight division champions. He could have stayed in his division for forever... but he moved up.

3. All his fights... you mean since moving up??? I wouldn't call world champions tomato cans... but obvisouly you are the expert.

4. Again... May always wanted to have someone who makes him famous. He wanted to face Prince Naseem... he wanted to fight Mosley... they at the time ain't wanted him. As he was at 147... Mosley wasn't even there and came back down late... and even then he wanted to fight him but Mosley had to go to a dentist...

5. I don't know what's going on in your mind... but you really seem to invest a lot of time in Floyd so tthat you can make this comparisions...

6. Roger is his uncle... I don't know what he should have to do with Floyd??? Roger had skill but was a whole different fighter, even style wise... so I don't know where you got that from. Heart is also not something that goes over from generations... either you got it or don't. If it would be that easy guys like Chavez jr. would be elite... again just a theory that has nothing to do with proven anything just proving that your head is full of funny opinions.

Castillo is a whole different fighter then Pacquiao. Castillo was an inside fighter... who had ti get close to throw his hooks and uppercuts... Pacquiao is nothing like that... he throws them too but more as boxer. Castillo also had a good chin and was a great fighter in his prime... almost all of his looses were because of cuts and not necause he was the lesser fighter. Like said... two completely different boxers.

If all is done... and May did anything he could to do this match... it should happen... and we will see... I have no problem whatsoever to tell you how the outcome is... I as well predicted the Cotto fight exactly the way it did... and it was even published by Doug Fisher... if you know boxing then you know what counts... Pacquiao has a lot of things that count but not if your fighting Floyd Mayweather.
