On the other side, you have pacman who has kept quiet….you have Freddie roach, who first says floyd would be an easier fight than cotto…..then roach says march 13th is too soon to fight a guy like mayweather, not b/c pacquiao is hurt, but b/c mayweather has a difficult style to prepare for…..WTF? then roach says 60-40 split for pacquiao gets the fight done….after the ppv numbers come out, roach says 50-50 gets it done. Then roach says they’d take the fight on march 13th, BUT FLOYD IS SCARED!!! LMAO!!! Floyd signs the deal for march, now roach wants 60-40 again, and pacquaio’s attorney has stated pacman won’t be fighting at all the first half of 2010. And bob arum has to fly all the way to the phillippines, unannounced, so he can sneak up on manny, convince him to come out from under the bed, and take the fight……

    But floyd’s scared right?
Damn, you just put all these crazy ass headlines in perspective.

WTF is going on with Team Pacquiao? They need to get their story straight.

Let's put to rest the notion that Floyd has never fought a true welterweight. He fought and defeated Carlos 'Baldozar' Baldomir. Say what you want about him, he is a true welterweight with a fight against Joshua Clottey on his record. Along with Zab Judah and Arturo Gatti...before fighting Floyd.
Another thing to put to rest is Cotto is a true welterweight. What weight did he start his career at?
        Thank you.
With the exception of Miguel Cotto, Floyd has beaten some of the same big names Pacquiao has. Why isn't Floyd getting the credit he deserves? He beat 2 of those fighters before Pac did.
Pac just needs to step up. You already have the Pac camp on record saying they wanted this fight. Now the fight is on the table and they're stalling. Mayweather has already agreed to the fight. Again, the Pac camp is on record saying Mayweather would make negotiations difficult, he hasn't so far. Mayweather called Arum's bluff and now Arum has egg on his face.

How so? It has been planned since two years ago.

ugh I hope this isn't true

I'd obviously like to see the fight, but March is so early into 2010 .. compared to that other May date that's been suggested.

Well done Arum! Tell it like it is!

I'm sure Pac will come around and sign the fight within the next couple of days

Fighting Mayweather in March could be the best political move he ever makes.
That's the problem, unfortunately many candidates running on May are celebrities and public figures, they are not allowed by the "Commission On Elections" to appear on TV, be shown on theaters in the campaign periods, they are not even allowed to make billboards of themselves for the public to see. They would get disqualified if they do such thing.

So how will the Filipinos watch the fight? the commission may not allow Pac's fight to be shown in the Philippines if it is on the range of the campaign period.

Dont you love it? Just going off of the way Arum is speaking it sounds like a very fair deal is on the table, but since he is not making excuses for Pac... he is now a SNAKE

And everyone bringing up Arum wanting Money, sure he does... but dont forget this old fart been in the game a verrrrrry long time he already has money coming out his ass. This fight aint going to make or break him.
