yep... even GBP are snakes ... they are trying to milk floyd also.
I don't understand why floyd needs GBP.

Who do you think is the lesser evil?
By floyd's decision to leave arum (w/c was a GREAT one), GBP is the lesser evil.

this thread should do numbers. this is big that his promoter has finally said something. this line says it all

      Arum said...

"you can make the argument that because he is running for office Manny can't fight May 1 BUT YOU CAN'T LOGICALLY WITH A STRAIGHT FACE MAKE AN ARGUMENT WITH MARCH 13"

If this parasite, Arum, has to do this much to convince his guy who he says "will knock Mayweather out in 6 or 7 rounds" then he doesn't want to fight Mayweather. All this talk about running for political office is very calculated and well timed by Pacquaio and his camp. Pacquaio knows he's got nothing for Mayweather so he and his camp are coming up with all these excuses. What's very telling is Pacquaio is allowing all these sycophants to speak for him. I haven't heard him say one word about whether he wanted to fight Mayweather or not. Juan Manuel Marquez (a true warrior) unlike Pacquaio, after defeating Juan Diaz immediately stepped up to the plate and said "I want Mayweather". Grow a pair Pacquaio and man the phuck up.

I don't know about politics in the Phillipines, but if he beats Mayweather in March, wouldn't that seal his victory in the May elections? Wouldn't it make his campaign trail a piece of cake in April and May. Just waive your arms, shake some hands, and yuo're in the club. Fighting Mayweather in March could be the best political move he ever makes.

Arum says pacquiao will win, and that’s why mayweather has been reluctant to do the fight???? Anyone else think that comment is funny? We’re talking about the same mayweather who came right out after the cotto fight, and said many would be easy work…..then he went on to sign the deal to fight him, after what, a WEEK of negotiations!

On the other side, you have pacman who has kept quiet….you have Freddie roach, who first says floyd would be an easier fight than cotto…..then roach says march 13th is too soon to fight a guy like mayweather, not b/c pacquiao is hurt, but b/c mayweather has a difficult style to prepare for…..WTF? then roach says 60-40 split for pacquiao gets the fight done….after the ppv numbers come out, roach says 50-50 gets it done. Then roach says they’d take the fight on march 13th, BUT FLOYD IS SCARED!!! LMAO!!! Floyd signs the deal for march, now roach wants 60-40 again, and pacquaio’s attorney has stated pacman won’t be fighting at all the first half of 2010. And bob arum has to fly all the way to the phillippines, unannounced, so he can sneak up on manny, convince him to come out from under the bed, and take the fight……

                But floyd’s scared right?

Unless my math is rusty, November 14 to March 13 is 4 months apart. That said, I think March 13 will be to Floyd's advantage. Pac just came from a tough fight with Cotto.

Is 2 months enough time to heal a ruptured ear drum? I say 2 months because that's the time Pac has left before he starts to train again, and get hit by sparring partners, which could possibly rupture the ear drum again.

I just don't want for either fighter to have excuses that they're not 100% or whatever when one of them loses.

I like both Pac and Floyd, and I'm really curious about how Mayweather fares against a fighter like Pac. Same with Pac, I'd like to see him against a fighter like Floyd. As of now, I'm unsure on who to pick between these two... Pac's a different fighter now and Floyd's still a friggin great boxer.

I don't expect Arum to give a **** about Pac's political aspirations. He's a boxing promoter, and just wants to cash in on Pac's remaining fights.
