Yup!! but they will hold it off until mid January.....both camps agreed to a gag regarding this fight.

For all we know the contract is already signed.

Arum has his eye on the money.

Pac fought DLH on Dec. 6 then Hatton five months later on May 2 then fought Cotto six months later.

Fighting Mayweather on March 13 is only 4 months after Nov 14. Pac didn't get a scratch on him in the DLH and Hatton fights. He got hit by Cotto and suffered some damage. So now he's supposed to take the Mayweather fight quicker just because Arum wants more money and knows negotiating with Money May might turn hellish if Pac turns down this quick date?

Floyd never proved he had a rib injury yet the fight was pushed back two months because of this excuse. Manny has a legit injury to his ear. Whether it's minor or major, it's still more legit than the "rib injury" and needs time to heal.

Mayweather & Arum's March 13 Fight Proposal

I do not know what Manny will decide about the fight but if Arum & Mayweather wants March 13 & they want Manny to agree with it, I think it's only fair that Manny dictates the share of 60/40. I would have been incline with the 50/50 on a later date but if they want to dictate the date then Manny should dictate the purse .... FAIR & SQUARE ....

To tell you the truth if this fight doesn't come off on March 13 Arum with his statement really made Pac look bad. And that's what Arum is... I know most of you are in love with him... he always been that way... ask DLH, ask Floyd etc. he's a ***** and pisses on everybody if the fighter isn't with him anymore... as Floyd was with him he was the best fighter he has ever seen since Muhammad Ali (he said it on a press conference)... now Floyd is only one of the best defensive fighters, ducks ppl etc. Dude is simply talking **** don't fall for it.

Pacquiao has a very slim chance of winning against Mayweather. Mayweather is not a guy that you can beat by matching his handspeed. Mayweather is a boxer... defense is natural to him... he's not like Cotto who can defend at times if he wants to... Mayweather has natural movement which throws the opponent of balance if you try to reach him... he as well has superb timing and can move and hit at the same time. After May figured him out the fight will be easy for him... and probably to the end even a ko... if Manny goes wild... head down forward and May catches him with a shot that he doesn't see. But the event... that's why I wanna see it... this big fight feel... the tension... March 13 to be honest would be almost to early to have that kind of a build up... still hopes it comes though.

Floyd usually wanted May... they said March... he said fine... so they pretty much also decided the date.

50-50 is fair... Floyd sells more PPV's... Manny has bigger gate numbers.

the answer is no...because when they call him, that advisor of his "michael konz" answers the phone and tells them that manny is busy and he'll get back to them...i remember this because during the build of for the cotto fight, pacquiao's lawyer and that konz dude were pissing off freddie roach and he finally got pacquiao's attention because he told those 2 snakes (just like arum) that he will quit and not train pacquiao, since they weren't passing his comments to pacquiao...and u could definitely see that tension in the 24/7series...

as for arum, when they were doing the negotiating for cotto, a reporter asked "when was the last time u spoke with manny", and arum replied "not since the after party for hatton" lol
