Taken from the Ring Magazine's rankings

    Antonio Margarito
    Last Year's Rating: 6
Status Report: Margarito's 17-point tumble is attributable in the main not to his shocking loss to Sugar Shane Mosley - there's no dishonor there - or to his subsequent inactivity. They work against him, but not as much as the revelation that his wraps were loaded going into the Mosley fight, as well as the very reasonable possibility that they were similarly doctored in all of his big wins. Can he fight? Absolutely, we just aren't sure how well.

      It's less of a Top 100 Fighters of 2009 and more of a Top 100 Fighters P4P.

WTF! Mayweather is #2 for fighting a blown-up featherweight Marquez for a UD win.

Though that might explain the list better if they WEREN'T going on just 2009, but overall who's the cream of the crop in the sport.

yea i like both caballero and donaire but your right dude. IMO donaire's last fight should have been a step back... Caballero had that nasty decision in panama 2 fights ago and chris john looked bad at the last round against rocky but chris john was dominant the whole fight and chris john is still undefeated!!!! (yes i know donaires first loss he was young or whatever) but bradley dawson and john >>> Donaire Caballero

This list is garbage... I am Donaire fan but how come he is ranked so high? Anf Viloria too far despite of that sensational KO and a UD?.. The Ring must be joking... Mayweather and Hopkins both inactive and fought so boring yet they rank so high...

But Concepcion missed weight by 4.5 pounds, it was a super bantamweight fighting a super flyweight. Donaire would hit him solid and he'd walk right through it and throw shots that were landing harder because of the advantage.

If Arce had Concepcion wincing with every single shot, I find it hard to believe Donaire was that far behind in the power department.

On a P4P level, Donaire's Darchinyan win was better and more impressive than either of their wins. The Martinez win was solid too.

You got a point but not enough to be at #6.
