      Hopkins looked good for his first fight back in over a year.

      At his age, having a year off is a big deal.

      Hopkins started slow, trying to shake off the rust.

      After round 4, he got into his groove and pretty much took over after that point.

        I see what you mean, but I think Hopkins has said previously in an interview that he's not in it for the money anymore like Mayweather Jr is.
        He has his mansion and his cars. There aren't very many big ticket fights left for Hopkins to be a part of. After Jones lost, his only big ticket fight is Dawson.
        I think he's just not young enough to beat the physically prime Dawson and Hopkins knows it. Hopkins doesn't fight to lose so IMO the best choice is just to hang em up.

        I think that at this point, Hopkins is just trying to find his limit and then call it quits when his body can't handle it no more.

          And he is party of Golden Boy East...he'll make a good chunk of change from that

                He threw more combinations than mayweather did against marquez.. LOL.. And stood toe to toe at times.. I'm just amazed how this guy keeps doing whats he's doing at his age.. ****in legend..
