    B-Hop was impressive tonight.

The Executioner going on 45 years old put on a show tonight. Most people set their expectations really low when they hear that a 45 year old is fighting a younger guy. Hopkins was more active than usual for the fans tonight and for that I give him credit. It is a testament to Hopkins' greatness that even at his old ass age he has haters and people telling him that he cherry picks when many in the sport think he shouldn't even be fighting anymore.

The truth is that they're right. Hopkins shouldn't be in the sport. It was evident that Bernard has aged and that it has affected him, but not to the extent that age affects other fighters like Roy Jones Jr.

Hopkins at this point has NOTHING left to prove. The only thing that he has proven tonight is that he can still fight very well at a competitively professional level.

He isn't ducking other fighters and I'm sure other fighters aren't exactly thrilled at the prospect of fighting Hopkins. Why get headbutted for 12 rounds only to get your win tarnished by people saying Hopkins was old and shot?

As much of a legend that Hopkins is and continues to be, it'll soon be time to hang them up. Age waits for no one and it will catch up to Hopkins eventually. Why wait to go out like Roy Jones Jr.?

did good for a 45 year old.

      I can roll with that.

But I don't know what he's smoking if he thinks he can beat David Haye

hopkins feels like he never got the respect he deserved, and rightfully so I agree with him. This is the reason he is choosing to keep fighting. He wants to add to his resume by getting a heavyweight belt. Winky is like hopkins as well. Winky felt he should have got more credit, thus he is continuing to fight as well. They both never got paid like the should have!

Hopkins looked superb tonight,he was cautious for the first couple of rounds. But after he figured out Ornelas(his style) Bhop did what he does best and went to work.

Nard fought at his pace, implemented his style and was just plain nasty.Bernard Hopkins doesn't even look 44.Somebody needs to check his birth certificate, because he fight as if he was a 28 year old

B-hop is a first ballot HoF. Most of the boxing world has given him plenty of credit and are astonished that a man of his age can still fight at that caliber.

I see why he'd keep going on for personal reasons, but he has nothing left to prove to the boxing world. If he keeps going then it's to prove something to himself. I'm just afraid that eventually he'll bite off more than someone at his old age can chew and go out like Roy Jones Jr.

I kinda mistyped what I mean. I meant financially he never felt he was respected. Everyone knows he is a great fighter but he like Winky as well felt they weren't compensated for it

This is an example why your a good poster. Your fav. fighter fought and you still aren't bias, and you tell it how it is. Props for being a straight shooter.
