When Floyd apparently didn't want to fight in March it was okay for Pac to fight Yuri Foreman.
Now PBF wants to fight in March, Pac apparently doesn't want to fight at all.
I won't believe it until Arum, Roach or Pac says anything, but so far this is looking like Pac's avoiding Mayweather. Who would've thought it?

I call BS. Why hasn't this story caught on yet with the other major outlets? Why is only one site reporting this? Why is this on one Filipino site, not all of them?
Arum left for the Philippines and it takes about 14 hours to get their from Vegas. He could still be up in the air as we speak. I don't think Arum would go there just to announce some television contract. He's going there to get Pacquiao to sign. As some people pointed out, fighting and beating Mayweather would be better than any campaign speech he could make.
If it doesn't happen, after all the crap that's been said and all the posturing and after Floyd Mayweather actually came to an agreement with Bob Arum, you would have to call this a duck. If he wanted to campaign instead of fight, why waste everyone's time with the negotiation? Why not just say after the Cotto fight "I need to concentrate on politics, I can't fight until next September"?
I'm a Pacquiao fan, but if he doesn't take the fight, I hope he loses the election and never gets a serious fight in the US again.
