i hope the people from general santos realize by electing him, the whole world would have lost at least 2 fights from the Pacman. For this year, Pacman will fight once at the most. And I doubt he will be able to have 2 fights a year when he is a congressman. 1st, for each fight, that means he will have to be in training for at least 2 months, and maybe be out of commission (in effect, resting his face/injuries) for the next month. That's 3 months. If he fights 2x a year, that's 6 months. So obviously, he can only fight once a year.

Elections for congress is done every 3 years. Why can't they just vote him as their congressman in 2013??

Thats good, it wouldn't have been good for Pac to fight that early, it wouldn't have been a prime Pac. His ear needs to heal before he starts training hard and he needs to adjust to a new style against Mayweather.
