Yeah he was. He was just too open. He can't fight like he's 25 anymore and he should have realized that.

Here's some shots I captured of the frame right before and after the punch landed. Keep in mind the video quality is bad, so it's hard to tell exactly where the punch lands. It doesn't look like much, but if you listen to the video you clearly hear a loud thud on impact.

I'll try to load some better shots once they become available.

Man I can't believe some people are still in denial that the fight should NOT have been stopped.

The sound when green hits RJJ with the right is sick. Green landed heaps of shots to the body of Jones did not fight back WITH a minute left in the round. As said before a ref with any sense would of stopped the fight then.

It look like it made contact with his shoulder more than anything.

I know. Remember it's a bad video, it could be missing a frame or two? He probably got caught right behind the ear/neck and threw off his equilibrium. Did you notice how he tried to get up the first time and almost fell right on his face.

He can't retire now...not like that. It's gonna be haunting him for a long time and if he goes out with a first round TKO he won't be able to forgive himself when he's 70.
