Answer a question for me, just for clarification. Where was Andrade ranked on that list before the Bute fight? Where was Bute ranked? Kessler was ranked #1 before the Ward fight. I don't know where Ward was ranked at the time, but if anyone deserves to be #1 it is Ward. He beat the number 1 guy. Bute beat the guy ranked ?

The way you win is a big factor.....if Ward won a close fight over the #1 fighter and Bute ko'd the #3 fighter in 1 round would Ward deserve a higher rank because of the ranking of his opponent?

No it is relevant if the sole basis of your thinking he should be ranked #1 was because Kessler was ranked #1.....the fashion in which you win is important and a big factor.

Berrio? Oh yea Berrio a top 10 fighter who was a an IBF title holder. Berrio who was coming off 2 KO victories over Yusaf Mack who right now is ranked in the top 10 LHW and over Steiglitz who right now is a top 10 SMW. So lets not act like Berrio was a bum coming into the fight with Bute. He was a legit top 10 fighter at the time.

And, my bad I didn't try to offend you. Zuniga and Berrio are names hardcore fans should know. Casual fans say who to those names. Is like if I talk about Edison Miranda best wins would be Green and Eastman. I would expect hardcore fans to know who Eastman is but I would expect the casual fan to say who to Eastman.

true but its also important who u fight. if u fight a 98 year old man and ko him in the first round that doesnt elevate ur ranking higher than someone who beats a ranked fighter. hypothetically.
