Basically yes, due to Andrade's durability mostly......if he shut Andrade out and won a 108-120 UD Ward would have been rated as #1 because of how high Kessler was rated......maybe if Ward has some solid wins in the tourney he will surpass Bute. Usually someone gets re-ranked after an impressive win.

There is no problem because of the tourney the SMW rankings are all temporary anyway until its over and Bute or whoever is able to derail him fights the tourney winner......If AA stops Dirrell early and in impressive fashion he will be ranked pretty high most likely.
