As bad as Valero's punches look he does have the power to one hit quit people at any time so against anyone he has a puncher's chance in my book. If a good trainer would tune him up he would be a pretty good LW.

Explosiveness, power, hand and foot speed, and his southpaw stance. Resilience, since he got knocked down against Mosquera and came back immediately to dominate the rest of the fight.
Pitalua had been on a good streak and had never been knocked out; the way he destroys the fighters he's faced is impressive, no matter how much of a bum anyone thinks they are; he beat up De La Hoya in sparring and more than held his own against El Terrible before the Pacquiao fight (10-15 fights ago).Comment
