He's got the power, he needs to be polished a bit more. He needs to work on his defense and posture in the ring. Pretty much he needs a good trainer that will correct his mistakes. Just imagine if Roach trained him full time.

Soto is an elite you dummy.

              He'll destroy Valero.

Soto is like a mini-Margarito. He jogs leisurely towards his opponents, has long-ass arms, throws great uppercuts, is a tough bastage, and has the coolest 'tache in boxing.

I still think Guzman beat him 116-112, though. It was a good fight, but not too close.

Agreed. Valero is a good name with great KO action. The Valenzuela politics are FN up his prime.

i love how people uunderestimate valero's power.................

                    campbell aint a lightweight

JMM is the man....but if an old barrera can deck him.....i dont even want to think what valero does to him if he lands flush......id root for jmm if they ever fought though...

funeka really surprised me....but funeka is a slow starter.....hed get KO'ed if Valero lands early.....

Diaz has the skill to beat him....but with his style, hed walk into something big sooner or later......

Soto?Soto'd get crushed, he is slow and hittable........

i dont know what happened to valeros skill though.....i remember those sparring sessions with morales........dude looked class.......i used to hate valero but dude doesnt market himself as a skilled fighter, dude just says no one can take his power, and he is pretty much right........

yea hes been knocked down before, forget against who. valero is pretty solid, i know alot of people trash on him because he makes fundamental mistakes and he looks unpolished but what has to be taken into account is that the guy is still a top professional boxer.

i know this is just sparring but analyze him, even though hes flawed you can still tell that the guy knows his **** and can fight. im not saying hes any thing special but the guy can fight.

eh, not in my opinion. soto has speed, footwork, more head movement, not as much of a squared style, soto would actually make for a good boxer if he was trained like that earlier.
