Well he isn't exactly going with a high risk pick there. Kevin Johnson is a very average fighter in my mind, and Vitali is a special fighter, even if Vitali is half asleep his skill, power, chin and experience are all light years ahead of the Kingpin. This is just a keep busy fight for big Vitali.

Excellent post! Many boxing fans still don't realise what we have with VK. He has outstanding physical advantages. Allied to that, he has very high punching accuracy, as well as a very heavy punch in both hands, switching his punches at the last second. For example turning a jab into a last second hook, if the opponent is covering his face well.
To cap it all, his back foot defence seems untouchable, he only has to lean backwards to avoid a punch, and is very quick to seize the opportunity to attack, when his opponent misses, and leaves himself wide open. He only has to transfer his weight to his forward foot, and move in. His fast and agile footwork is badly underestimated by "gurus" such as.........Teddy Atlas, whom we always see demonstrating various boxing moves on TV.
To look at Teddy, and listen to him, nobody would ever believe that he was never a pro boxer, and in fact was the "veteran" of only 9 amateur bouts,
{3- 2 minute rds} many of which he lost.
Klitschko's back foot defence and moves remind me very much of Jack Johnson's. And he has the well deserved reputation of being the master defensive heavyweight boxer of all time.
Vitali Klitschko is one of the best heavyweights of all time.Comment

Vitali ducks no man and comes to fight, which is more than can be said of many other of today's champions.
I feel many people will not appreciate Vitali Klitschko until he retires, unfortunately. Make no mistake, Vitali will be sorely missed by boxing fans the world over when he decides to retire...whether they realize this or not as of yet.Comment

Johnson is 6 foot 3, so he is not going to be able to outbox the 6 foot 7 Legend. He has to fight Vitali the way Lewis did, come forward, unfortunatly for Johnson, he isn't a power hitter like Lewis was. Johnson has more decisions than knockouts, that equals him being knocked out.Comment

Kingpin is a cool guy and I hope he does well in this fight. I dont have a bad word for him. He's a lot faster than people think.
Saying that, Vitali is the best best best of the best. We know how this fight is going to end.Comment

So THE KINGPIN supposedly ran from Timor for 4 rounds, and Timor was consoled by Johnson's promoter..........WHAT A ******** LIE..............KINGPIN did not have a promoter at that time, the Ibragimov-Johnson fight was promoted by Lou Dibella, so Timor Phuck off....................Phuck the Haters......................Comment
