I was hoping he'd get a crack at Martinez, that would have been a war. And, I think Kevin might have won that won.

This a strange match, first fight at lightweight? pick the biggest guy in the entire division. WTF?

The Martinez fight didnt happend because they anted Martinez to go and defend in the UK, and Martinez people said hell no. they know Mitchell is a it hyped in the UK and unless martinez KHTFO cold, he wasnt winning a descicion there. Martinez people where talking aout fighting in the US, ut they didnt wanted and instead made this dumb move, to fight at LW against a guy that can end Mitchells run with a punch.

Prescott's power is overrated. There is a myth that says he hurt Khan with a jab, but it was more of a hook than a jab. He's got decent power, but he's no Hamed.

Mitchell's hands are all fucked up. He'll probably lose because of that.

hope kevin michell wins for obvious reasons but i think everyone will agree with me, khan will only get the true recognition he deserves when he has a rematch with prescott and to do that prescott will need to beat mitchell.

The only reason he's fighting Prescott again is to prove he can beat him. With Prescott's loss earlier in the year, it makes Khan's KO loss look even worse.

exactly m8, but if prescot loses against mitchell i doubt khan would want the fight, as if he took it and lost again that would just destroy him once again.

he would want to take on prescott after a big win to show the world it was just a lucky punch that lost him the fight, and not the fact that he is **** lol.

I fancy Mitchell's chances actually. Prescott hangs his chin out too much and I think his power and skills are overrated. I'm not saying Prescott is another Miranda, but I think they are similar. Monsters who are easy to work out, like video game bosses. If Mitchell fights smart, I think he wins but if he decides to go to war, then he will probably throw it away.

Anyone want to bet with me? I got Mitchell.

Indeed it was a left hook, and a very nasty one at that. Short left which would've rocked anybody who was open to it.

A few seconds prior to that, he did land a jab which made Khan's foot jump back a bit, but he wasn't buckled or anything. He merely righted himself, and carried on. Obviously when he did get buckled, it was because of that sharp left hook which started the chicken dance.
