really i only remember his fights at ww but that doesnt change my point if he can make weight at 147 why shouldnt he be able to fight at that weight and also he has challenged the top guy at mw. obviously if he can make 147 without killing himself he isnt naturally a hw so whats your problem with his opponent choice?

Dumb ass thread. Moving up in the higher divisions is a lot harder to do since the higher divisions are separated by more weight. And besides, Williams is already fighting above his natural weight division.

Pac Moving up 7 weight classes > Williams moving down 2 weight classes

Mayweather Moving up 5 weight classes > Williams moving down 2 weight classes

Will Paul Williams EVER be great enough to move up divisions from his ORIGINAL weight class of Middleweight and WIN Titles @ MW, SMW, LHW, CW or HW?

Or will he just drop to the lower weight classes and fight the smaller fighters there?

im baffled at the IDEA of P Will beginning his career fighting @ MW & JMW...then DROPPING Down to fight smaller fighters whom he knows he has a competitive advantage against. Why hasnt he gone up the MW & SMW & LHW ranks and MOVED UP to dominate and win titles like the fighters he is calling out....ie: Pac, Mayweather & Mosley???

I always thought Paul Williams had some decent boxing skills but what his major problem is, that he doesn't have the power or the chin to deal with fighters his own size.
