Mayweather Moving up 5 weight classes > Williams moving down 2 weight classes

Will Paul Williams EVER be great enough to move up divisions from his ORIGINAL weight class of Middleweight and WIN Titles @ MW, SMW, LHW, CW or HW?

Or will he just drop to the lower weight classes and fight the smaller fighters there?

im baffled at the IDEA of P Will beginning his career fighting @ MW & JMW...then DROPPING Down to fight smaller fighters whom he knows he has a competitive advantage against. Why hasnt he gone up the MW & SMW & LHW ranks and MOVED UP to dominate and win titles like the fighters he is calling out....ie: Pac, Mayweather & Mosley???

Hopkins also did that.He started his career at lightheavy,lost his first fight then came down to middleweight to pick on midgets,And then have the nerve to call Floyd and Roy cherry pickers.

he started his career at ww and has moved up to mw am i missing something here? im not exactly the biggest p williams fan but he was willing to mix it up with the mw champion pavlik and would have if not for the injury to pavlik i dont think he is the great fighter his supporters make him out to be atleast not yet but he has shown willingness to fight anybody in his surrounding weight classes if he can still make ww thats not his problem but his opponents

Exactly all his fans go around acting like he deserves a shot at the likes of Floyd/Pac too.. From what beating up a 37 yr old Winky who had been layed off for two years, other then that he has lost too and beat Quintana (hardly an atg) recently.

The kind of advantages pwilliams would have over guys at WW is 5 x what Floyd had over Marquez but yeh thats fine tho!

really i only remember his fights at ww but that doesnt change my point if he can make weight at 147 why shouldnt he be able to fight at that weight and also he has challenged the top guy at mw. obviously if he can make 147 without killing himself he isnt naturally a hw so whats your problem with his opponent choice?

I just want to know when Paul Williams is going to fight fighters his size...thats all

he yaps about Mayweather fighting one small fighter in Marquez....but he turns around and says he wants to fight Mayweather & Pac...lol
