To be fair, Floyd was only coming into the ring at 146 pounds at WW until his last fight. I still dont think he is anything more than 152 now. The 146 is why Ive always said that he didnt fight Cotto or Margarito. He looked like a flat chest little boy in the Baldy fight. Every fighter at WW said Floyd didnt belong. Paul Williams use to clown the other guys for calling Floyd out by saying that they all just want to fight Floyd because he isnt a real WW. Cintron use to say the same and then the next day both Cintron & Williams would call Floyd out. I think all of those guys saw Floyd as a gold mine. He was the smallest guy there but he brought the most money, the most exposure, and the biggest legacy winning fight.

On top of that none of them felt he was big enough to hurt them while they all felt they could break him in half. Even after the JMM fight in the post fight presser when he was standing side by side with Shane, Mosley looked much bigger. He was way more thicker & broader. I know all these guys just look at Floyd and think they can break him in half. Dont be shocked if Floyd fought him though but I think that would be 3-5 more fights away. I think he would fight Pac, Mosley, maybe Clottey, and someone like Spinks or Martinez at 154 before he fought Williams

At the same time Dawson is saying that he wants Paul. What do you think he's going to do? You think he's going to take the harder fight in Dawson for peanuts when he could fight an easier guy for 5x as much money, a million times more exposure, and beat a guy who is rated #1 in the world? He wouldnt risk doing that. Again, its not because he's scared of Dawson or wouldnt fight him but you dont take that risk when you have a very big fight probably coming up with way more at stake. Again, I think Mosley would fight him if all that was out of the way but why fight him 1st? Yeah your right that you are thinking about losing. Why wouldnt you? You would be a fool to lose that fight and not make the big money. No one would do that. Stop thinking as a fan
Using Dawson is not a good comparison cuz you talking about a fighter who is a LHW. I would see that point if Williams is calling them out at 154/160. But, Williams is willing to go down to WW. The WW picture Mosley/Pac/Mayweather and P-Will. Same weightclass Dawson way up north. Again business you make 7 figures against Dawson, you win you become and bigger which would make you more money in your next fight. Is only ****** if there is a fear of loosing. Which I think Floyd has and Pac has maybe Mosley as of right now. Cuz you lose then you lose the big payday. So I understand why they are not fighting him. But, I just dont understand why the *****s and *******s not admit that yes the fight is not happening now cuz there is a very good chance of Williams ruining everything.

Since he will never fight those 3 then I guess he will never fight Williams.

Its just common sense man. So what if there is a fear of losing? That dont mean nothing. The fear lies in his size, thats all. You talk about the size stuff compared to Dawson but this is also P-Will's 1st weight class and he is super huge compared to Floyd's 4th where he has been super small until his last fight and Manny's millionth weight class. Dont act like all these guys are on equal grounds just because its the same division. Its not. You say that Dawson wouldnt come down but he could meet him at 168 which would be Williams 4th just like Floyd. Dont act like these guys havent put in work and Williams has done something so special. As much of a freak as he is, he still hasnt fought alot in different weight classes as high as Pac & Floyd. Its not like we are talking about guys like Margarito who are in there 1st division. Thats why they fought Williams. There is always a fear of losing when you are talking about fighting someone with a major advantage. You always think about that. Its not a fear like your scared but you know that its possible so you dont take that fight until everything else big is off the table

So PWill wants to excuse his bad behavior by pointing to the bad behavior of others......he is a MW and should be fighting 160lbers.

Why wouldnt he? I could see him fighting someone like Clottey for his final hometown fight in Michigan. If you think its possible that he may fight Pac & Mosley then why would he be scared of Clottey who is the easiest one? Floyd & Spinks have been talking about fighting for years and Floyd has a great relationship with King. If Floyd wanted to get another title at 154, he would fight Spinks. He would also have fought 5 Southpaws by that time and recently defeated Pac. IDK about Martinez. I dont think he's good like everyone else does but my point is that if he really is willing to fight Williams then I think he would use Martinez for the final Southpaw tuneup. Honestly, I have always said that I wouldnt be shocked if Floyd tried to go out with a ****. Fight all the guys that I said and then fight Williams at MW so he can say he won in 6 divisions, won the glorious MW championship, and he wouldnt have to fight a true huge MW to do it. I doubt that one happeneds though. If he fights him then its at WW or 154. Probably WW though

Fuck where Williams/Floyd/Pac started. That is an excuse lets not make excuses here. Is Floyd a true legit WW right now? Is Pac a top 3 WW right now? Williams saying he can make WW right now so that makes him a WW. You want a WW fighter to go up to 168 to fight Dawson? Why? When that same WW fighter wants to fight other WWs. That makes no sense bro. Williams is willing to go to 147. Floyd is a real WW he can not make 140 so lets not say he is too small. And, Pac at worst a top 3 WW arguable the best WW right now. Why make excuses? Is not like Williams is asking them to go up in weight.

Clottey Martinez brings no money. Spinks bring money is St. Louis Floyd will not fight him. Fights will never happen Floyd don't give a **** about cares about the money. I can't see why fans defend a fighter like that.
