IMO I think Gamboa is too much for Juanma and I think he stops him. He's too big, too fast, and too powerful... Despite that, I can't wait till it's made. There's going to be so much hype for it.

They offer Caballero 150K for the fight, he didnt wanted **** him. Why Caballero aint interested in fighting Poonsawat who is the #2 ranked SBW? Hipocresy much?

Gamboa is a chinny Mo FO, and Juanmas boxing skills are better. Juanma Lands and Gamboa goes down!!!

He's chinny but he gets right back up and whoops ass... However Juanma's gotta be on his game and box. He can't go in there the way he did with Mtagwa. If Mtagwa can hurt Lopez imagin what Gamboa would do with his speed. Juanma needs a VERY solid gameplan.

Good fight for Juanma and boxing fans eager to see where he's really at. Personally, I think the Mtagwa bout was a positive step for him. Still, Lueveno is a live dog with real featherweight experience.

Don't forget Matagwa is coming up in weight which gives the advantage to Gamboa. You can't really compare performances but if Gamboa can't KO him then he looks bad.

with all due respect, cotto did not disgrace and/or disappoint. He furthered our pedigree of producing the best fighters in world despite our population numbers. I was very proud of him. He just got beat by a one of the greatest fighters of all time!

Juanma needs to continue the legacy!

Beat me to the punch. The fight will give us, the boxing public, an idea of what a Gamboa - Lopez fight will look like but on paper Gamboa has a tremendous edge in that Matagwa is coming up in weight and Lopez was obviously having trouble making 122 for his fight with him. Either way it should be good scrap and Gamboa should be able to pull it out. Don't know about a KO though, Matagwa has a solid chin (head).

One of them would lose before that happens, and waiting on them to become bigger names wouldn't pay off. The time to have them fight is this year.
