    After you edited it.

I strongly disagree, Casamayor's hand speed and movement was alot better back then.

I don't recall following the DLH-Pac fight closely nor commenting much on it. But after I saw the fight, it was clear Oscar was not the same, and most agree the weight affected Oscar much more than what everyone thought it would.

I didn't pick a winner for Pac-Hatton, but I thought the fight would be more competitive than what we saw. That was based on my assumption that all factors would be equal if Ricky had gone in with a plan and strategy to make it more competitive.

I picked Manny to win against Cotto by SD or UD. I also thought that fight would be much more competitive than the blowout we saw.

            LOL...118-109 isn't "having a hard time"..

            JMM dominated him easily.
And beating an older version of MAB whom years ago was hanging for dear life against a one-dimensional Pacquiao should not be expected of a domination?

read your own reply. what does it say on my post that you quoted?
Exactly. But not for the reasons you have in mind.

Yeah, I was expecting it and JMM delivered.

Packy may be 1 dimensional, but he has MAB figured out.

MAB couldn't beat Packy even if he was in his prime.

Coincidence or did Arum and Roach know that Casa has the tools to win?

Yet low and behold, who steps up and takes on Casa??

                  JMM.

And k.o's him. Something even Corrales couldn't do.

Pretty amazing stuff if you "aks" me.
you know damn well what happened the last 2 years wasn't planned.

that's why i laugh at all these guys saying pacquiao is protected blah blah blah.

david diaz was a tuneup. it was just a fight to get him use to 135 and to get a belt. pacquiao was not meant to move up to 140 and 147.

4 things happened totally out of top rank's control.

                  1. mayweather pulled out of the delahoya fight.

                  2. margarito upset cotto.

                  3. hatton wanted a tuneup before fighting delahoya.

                  4. pacquiao unexpectedly beat delahoya.

if mayweather hadn't pulled out of the delahoya rematch , oscar wouldn't have had to go looking for an opponent.

if margarito hadn't beaten cotto , oscar would have fought cotto.

if hatton hadn't wanted a tuneup first , it would have been ricky fighting oscar in december last year.

if pacquiao hadn't beaten delahoya , delahoya-hatton would have gone through as planned.

arum was a happy man the last 2 years.

                    that's not pacquiao's fault btw.

                    oscar wanted 147.

remember oscar was gonna fight hatton at 147 too.

While I find this interesting and eloquent it still doesn't explain the choice of opponent at 135.

If he wasn't planning on moving past 35', then why not challenge the man there and forget about David Diaz.

Everyone knew he was gonna beat Diaz. And then to put that on PPV!!
