Ever wondered if Cotto ruined Margarito

Cotto put on a boxing display in my opinion that fight and landed a lot of clean shots himself even though he lost. Margarito didn't look like the same fighter against Mosley. If Cotto hits as hard as they claim did they ruin each other?

Margarito didn't look like the same fighter because he got his hand caught in the cookie jar.

Then he went on to say that he didn't know about his wraps? Yeah ****in' right.

I think it works both ways, I think both took something out of them in that fight. But thats just my opinion. Also, doesn't help Margaritos case for being caught with Plaster in his very next fight. Makes it look like he most likely cheated against Cotto too. Even if he didn't cheat against Cotto, that **** has to be some of the most disgraceful thing in boxing to find plaster in someones hand-wraps. I think only morons are Margarito fans right now.

I personally think both fighters took something out of each other that night.

Yeah it definitely crossed my mind, it isn't exactly the first fight where margarito took a lot of punches, but he took some hellacious shots from cotto, even in the ko round. Agree with everyone about the wraps, at least cotto took something out of margarito fairly.

Margarito's been fighting for a long time as a pro with a high energy style, and he's no defensive genius.

It may just be that the Plastered Bastard was eventually going to wind down anyway due to this, and Cotto was yet another physically taxing fight (and training camp).
