I think someone mentioned on another thread that Japan does not recognize the WBA so for them to get matched up together, Nonito would need another trinket from a governing body that Japan recognizes.

It doesn't apply to hasegawa, who has fought foreign competition in pretty much all his defenses. Naito didn't fight donaire because japs don't recgonize the ibf or the wbo
