Might not be too bad. Philippine election is in the 2nd week of May. Say Pac really wants to run (which is also being reported in the Philippine papers), he now has to figure out the specifics of his campaign. For most politicians that would mean platforms, show and greet events, political meetings etc. Pac doesn't need to do any of that, his best political campaign strategy would be winning a May1 fight vs. Floyd!(the possible 20+ million payday isn't too shabby either) If Pac today is confident that he can do that, he should run for a nationally elected position instead of a local congressional seat.

Guaranteed, no self respecting pinoy can refuse to vote for him. His current iconic status in the Philippines + Floyd slayer after May 1 (presuming a Pac victory), with elections in less than 2 weeks? He could top the senatorial elections, maybe even higher office - LOL!

He`s running the second week of may.They want to do the Mayweather/PAc fight on May 1st.There`s plenty of time for Pac to run.But as all the boxing fans who don`t lie to themself know is that Pac only fight shot fighters and Floyd does`nt fit into that equation.

Well Pac's been planning on running since last election where he lost. We cant blame him or force him to take on the fight. Although a fight in May 1 can still be possible but I doubt it. He's against the most influential clan in the province and has the support of the administration.I doubt if he can train and campaign.

I just hope that he back off from politics. He can do more good in the boxing ring.
