i dont have a problem giving floyd his props because he is really a talented boxer...he just needs to fight guys who are his size and to prove his greatness by fighting and beating guys bigger than him...
I can accept any fighter being the best regardless of race.I just can`t stand boxers getting credit they don`t deserve over fighters who do deserve the credit. And i can`t stand double standards and propaganda about Pacquiao being a braveheart who takes on all comers.

It's more like Team Pacquiao knows they don't deserve 50/050 and won't agree to the lesser end

        Exactly.

Wrong. They just stated a pre-mature confirmation that the fight was going to be made.

For most politicians that would mean platforms, show and greet events, political meetings etc. Pac doesn't need to do any of that, his best political campaign strategy would be winning a May1 fight vs. Floyd!(the possible 20+ million payday isn't too shabby either) If Pac today is confident that he can do that, he should run for a nationally elected position instead of a local congressional seat.

Guaranteed, no self respecting pinoy can refuse to vote for him. His current iconic status in the Philippines + Floyd slayer after May 1 (presuming a Pac victory), with elections in less than 2 weeks? He could top the senatorial elections, maybe even higher office - LOL!
He`s running the second week of may. They want to do the Mayweather/PAc fight on May 1st.There`s plenty of time for Pac to run.But as all the boxing fans who don`t lie to themself know is that Pac only fight shot fighters and Floyd does`nt fit into that equation.

Well Pac's been planning on running since last election where he lost. We cant blame him or force him to take on the fight. Although a fight in May 1 can still be possible but I doubt it. He's against the most influential clan in the province and has the support of the administration.I doubt if he can train and campaign.

I just hope that he back off from politics. He can do more good in the boxing ring.

Well it's his call, if he chooses to run for a congressional seat, fight can be set on July.

Floyd fought Delahoya at 154 and Oscar fought at Welter for many years.Floyd Also fought Zab who started his Career at 140 just like Cotto. And he also fought Baldi who started his Career at welter. So where`s your other weak arguments to divert attention form the fact that Pac is a p*ssy??

It would be an issue coz Pac will be busy campaigning, pac can't do both training while campaigning for the elections.

Excuses Excuses.Arum has a plan fight for Pac in MArch. Why Not fight Floyd in March? Its because Floyd is not shot and won`t come down to 135 to fight him.
