I know i find it totally baffling. Just think of the quantity of food he must be consuming to maintain that weight whilst intensively training.

To his credit he was in good shape. He fought hard for 10 rounds while getting the **** kicked out of him. He was in good shape. If he kept training, is in the same shape, he might have lost a little blubber. He has to learn than he can never let himself get out of shape. Boxing every 2-3 months with only one week off between fights is probably the way for him to do it.

Now, if he comes in way out of shape then we know he's not ready for the big time and will remain a contender.

they fight for legacy, american HWs fight for money. once they reach a certain level they get payed enough in their minds and stop making the sacrifices needed to be a world class fighter. once the contract is signed the paycheck doesnt make you get up in the morning to run. it doesnt make you put the pizza down eighter. basicly you get what you put into boxing.

if arreola really wanted to be champ badly he wouldve trained hard to begin with, but he didnt. my guess is he will be fat as usual.

you guys are missing the point. Nips thinks he's hot **** right now and can hang with anyone. after a few more beatdowns, nervous breakdowns, and his sexy wife leaving him, he'll realize where he's at and why he's there. he'll still be exciting, but so was Butterbean

I hope he shows up in good shape, because Minto is actually a decent fighter.

Yeah I agree, despite being overweight, he clearly had trained well enough to go 10 hard rounds.

Until he learns how to throw a proper punch he ain't going far.

Yes, Minto is a live underdog in this one.

I dont hate Arreola, but damn, get on a meal plan. His personal trainer said he's in good fight shape but just doesnt look it. I think he'd be faster, stronger and more effective if he cut some weight, or put on some muscle. I know for sure that extra weight is slowing him down. I didnt feel too bad for him when he was crying after vitali beat him, because of this quote.
"If Michael Phelps smokes weed, why cant I have a beer"

Beer while training isnt a good idea Chris, especially when you're already overweight going against lean cut heavyweights.
