Floyd won't do it running through. Floyd would probably win but only via decision.

Nobody seems to listen to you mantz, but anyway.

how would Floyd TKO Cotto faster than Pac did?

He fought an overblown weight disadvantaged fighter in JMM, whom he fought to a decision...not even a stoppage but a decision?

      WHY?

Tall, rangy fighters with good jabs; Tommy Hearns is the prime example as some have already mentioned.

Paul Williams is the closest thing to that mold.

I think if Vernon Forrest and Floyd were around the same weight and in their primes, it'd be an interesting matchup.

FloydJr's defense is perfect against any conventional fighter. May it be an agressive one or a counterpuncher. The way Floyd moves is an instict, it's more like his body is programmed to slip punches, bob and weave to avoid combinations.

But the way JMM caught PBF with a right tells alot, a southpaw's right hook to the body or head will be a problem if it is thrown with speed. a southpaw's 3 punch combination of right jab, right hook left uppercut would be effective, not all three will land but just one, but if that one punch contains power... it would cause problems as the fight progresses.

PBF will adjust, but will he adjust soon enough before the damage has been done? I've never seen PBF got caught by a solid punch that really hurt him. What will he do when he gets hurt? of course we know... he will fight backwards til his opponent finally gas... but what if his opponent has stamina? what if his opponent can cut the ring?

I want to see PBF adjust to that. I know PBF can bring more to the ring, I want to see him fight his heart out in the ring, I want to see him against a real challenge to see him give all he's got.

Very true. Because of those dimension, William's chances better than Pac. That very high risk for Pac is the reason why I want the Pac-Pbf to happen.

out of fights that will actually happen?

Pac...he is quite powerful and fast, and might just find a weak spot in Floyd's D and then siege it till it crumbles.

P Dub would actually be the greatest challenge to Floyd, but Floyd won't ever take that fight, so no worries

The style you just described sounds just like Miguel Cotto

Someone that is tall and rangy that is an actual outside fighter and preferably a southpaw. Not really a fighter like that around currently.

Really though a tall rangy southpaw that fights on the outside and knows what they are doing is generally a matchup problem for anyone.
