say like roy jones jr to james toney?
or JMM to manny pacquiao?
or sandy saddler to willie pep perhaps?
i think guys who are excellent in cutting off the ring are the ones who give PBF the most trouble...
or someone with a size advantage & a good jab to a lesser extent like oscar...
what say u people?Comment

Yes but is he willing to find out...prob not.
I have always thought cotto was a bad style match up for floyd, a skillful pressure fighter, I could see that fight being like the castillo fights, pretty tough to score.
Manny is a bad style match up for anyone including mr mayweather, floyd just like all righties looks much more vulnerable and less fluent against southpaws.
Paul williams because of the size, height reach southpaw, good fighter.
Mosley's speed and power would bring a very realistic ko possibility but id expect floyd to pick him off and win a decision. Those are the hard fights for floyd stylistically. A good vernon forrest would have given floyd hellComment

Well, he's faced almost every style in the game and beaten them. The only thing I can see troubling him (if Pacquiao's southpaw/speed formula can't) is a tall boxer with a really good jab like a Tommy Hearns.
Fortunately for Mayweather, there's nobody like that in the sport right now unless he wants to go up and fight a super middleweight or something.Comment

Pac and P Will would be the toughest options probably.
I see him taggin Cotto all night and making him devoid of ideas.
He may possibly have to make P Will fight on the inside where the long arms could make it more difficult for Williams and he could try and frustrate Manny with movement and the ability to slip punches that Manny hasn't encountered recently.Comment
