    Is Mayweather "fresher" than Pacquiao?

When pondering about the upcoming match up between Mayweather & Pacquiao I can't help but think about the 2 fighters individual paths that lead them to this point. Manny Pacquiao has 55 professional fights with a total of 305 Rounds boxed. Floyd Mayweather has 40 professional fights with a total of 287 rounds boxed.

Obviously Mayweather has been in very few physical wars due to his defensive style, and Pacquiao has been in many entertaining wars throughout his career. Although Manny is 2 years younger he has been in more fights and more physically demanding fights due to his offensive style. So my question is will Pacquiao's wear and tear throughout his career play a part in the outcome of this fight once the leather begins to be exchanged? ie: cuts, bruising, punch resistance...etc etc

    Thoughts?

It's crazy but Manny still looks fresh. Mentally and Physically he is sharp.

The upside to being Manny is that he is used to tough battles...

And Floyd is a bit brittle.

I think Mayweather is the least fresh of the two. The reason i say that is because Pacquiao looks like he is peaking right now, where as Mayweather looks like he could be starting to lose tiny little bit, he got hit a couple of shots by JMM that made me think, does he get hit by those shots and few years ago?

Fighters who rely on reflexes tend to be done earlier in their career imo. Jones, Leonard, Whitaker.

I disagree that Floyd is brittle...for someone who has consistently faced bigger, stronger opposition and has broken them down...he has taken very little physical punishment. Its quite amazing really

For those few shots that Marquez landed he only landed 12% of his total punched the lowest ever for a Mayweather opponent

Actually, Floyd has fought more than Pac when you look at the fact of what age they started and Floyd taking 2 years off. People think Pac does way more but there was like a 10yr stretch where they both had like the same number of fights

Take into consideration how slow JMM was and how he had shown signs of his reflexes slipping in fights before the Mayweather fight.

Gotta disagree with this, look at how many punches Pac has taken throughout his career..

Believe it or not, Pacquiao haven't reach his peak as of yet and still improving.

Remember Pacquiao is a late bloomer and might peak when he fights Gayweather.

Pacquiao by brutal KO in the 6th round.

No I think it was because when he fought Diaz, Diaz pressured him a lot and his speed wasn't apparent. He looked much faster vs the defensive Mayweather
