I agree with the sleeze bag!

But he has a good chance against all these B rate fighters in the tourney.

What's the point of doing the tourney if your gunna complain about who you have to fight and switching **** around and all that.

Man I'm going to have to call you crazy. I feel so sorry for JT that I'm pulling for him, but I can't see JT winning this fight. Ward is far quicker than anyone JT has faced, and he's a young Lion. Unfortunately I see JT getting stopped again.

getting caught isnt what creates brain damage, having long wars is what does that. guys like gatti & ward or morales and barrera are the guys who get brain damaged. i wouldnt call taylor fresh but he hasnt taken a whole lot of abuse. no need to worry about taylor dying or getting brain damaged, not mpre than any other fighter anyways.

as for him "hesitating when speaking", hes done that his whole life.. watch an interview with him before the hopkins fight and you couldnt tell any diffrence from today. hes not brain damaged he just talks like that. thats acctually how he got into boxing, kids would tease him in school for stuttering and general difficulties when speaking.. and jermain would kick their ass..

I have no idea why this dumbass Warren is always quoted here on Boxingscene. He has no fighter in the tournament, so he should just shut up and mind his own business. It would be ****** that only winners would get to fight each other like he's saying. He really doesn't get the logic of the points system in the tournament. And Taylor is not done. Just unlucky.

Taylor is dangerous but there comes a point where enough is enough. Jermain Taylor isnt the same guy he was when he "beat" Hopkins back in the day, Andre Ward is a fresh and talented young champion who is gonna put it on him.
I hate to say it, but Taylor is gonna get another beating if this fight happens.

I know it's wishfull thinking but I would love to see Taylor show young green Ward a boxing lesson.

jermain taylor is a grown man and he has the right to make his own decisions. while the past 3 knockouts were quite brutal, you can't say that taylor is a pushover. he more than held his own against pavlik, froch, and abraham. does he belong in the tournament with these super middleweights? that's questionable. but does he have the ability to compete? absolutely. i don't want taylor to suffer any permanent damage either. imo, taylor should hang em up. but it's his decision. i wish him the best of luck.
