also, clown. Im a Oscar fan but that dont mean that I will just give him props for nothing. He didnt beat a prime Vargas. Tito killed him and he was dropped in his next fight. I think the pre Tito Vargas wouldve beat him. That doesnt mean that Oscar sucks or wasnt good, idiot

You watch this fight... the Quartey fight (whether or not he deserved the win is irrelevant) and the first Chavez fight and you realize: Oscar at his best could have competed in any era.

At his best he was a beast. He dosen't deserve all the critisicm he gets.

Oscar was overrated.So he beat Vargas who was ruined by Tito. When Vargas was looking like "EL FEROZ" Oscar was saying that Vargas will never get a payday but then Tito ruins Vargas. Vargas after that does not look ferocious anymore. And, the Oscar fights him.

How about that look on Mayorga's face!! LOL!!!! Goddamn I'll never forget that. All that **** talking Mayorga did and he was flat assed on the mat and completely speechless.

Also, with the Vargas fight: The thump from that left hook, the crowd going berserk and Lampley saying "And down goes Vargas on a rocket left hook!!" ****ing gives me goosebumps every time. Yeah OK so Oscar's a money grubbing snake now and he's crooked as ****, but he had his day in the ring.

Some people will never give him his props, for some reason it was like a fad to hate on Oscar after the Chavez fight. Good thing the ones who weren't ignorant actualy saw that Oscar was a great fighter, and fought everyone who was considered the best!
