For the 2001 year title vacant. Corrales is not even in the top 10.

2006 look at the 154 rankings... Title vacant look all of the fighter who are above Oscar. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Th..._Ratings:_2006

2007 rankings title vacant look who is ranked in front of Oscar. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Th..._Ratings:_2007

Bro is not that serious to make stuff up...

I dont know man... i mean floyd looked great against Marquez, but he looked horrible against DeLaHoya. If you are basing your opinion of how the fight will unravel based only on the Marquez fight, i think you are in for a surprise. Pac has one punch power... you need to understand that... Mayweather may be hard to hit, but he isn't unhittable, and when pressured right, he tends to play on the ropes... and that would very likely equal a TKO. Roach knows Mayweather weakness... the proof is Oscar almost beat him, and he was already washed up when he fought Floyd.

But if you want to talk resume wise, Corrales and Castillo went on to win world championships after mayweather beating them as well as C.hernandez and Jesus Chavez..which speaks volumes for his resume.

        I'm off to bed.
        rankings is just that.

        it can change.

ring champion can only be gotten by unifying the wbc , wba , ibf (back then before they changed it) , by winner of a fight between #1 and #2 , and by beating a reigning ring champion.

This is incorrect. Pacquiao is the best of his generation according to about 90% of those asked.

Resume? That's debatable. Mayweather would have wins with 6 ring magazine champions
Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castille, Carlos Baldomir, Ricky Hatton and Oscar de la Hoya, Pacquiao

Mayweather would also most likely seek a bout with the winner with Mosley/Berto which would make seven.

Pacquiao has 2 - Hatton and Barrera

              hard to argue facts.
Ring Magazine Champions your a joker, is that the best you could come up with, like beatiing those guys is better than beating Morales and Barrera get real

Carlos Baldomir what a joke the weakest Welterweight Champion of my lifetime, like he is anywhere near as good as Cotto, in fact Mayweather never fought a welterweight as good a Cotto
