I can't see Floyd ever fighting Shane, not with the potential payout with Pacquiao staring him in the face. Also, Shane is a bigger risk for Floyd. No way this fight gets made. Bernard is smoking skunk.

That said, Floyd would get more props for fighting Shane than beating Manny. It would be a more competitive fight IMO.

As for Bernard Hopkins, he & shane mosley are nothing more than figure heads that dont carry any real power in Golden Boy promotions. The fact that Shane couldnt get a fight for the whole year vs golden boy promoted fighters tells you that much.

Shane had to fight Margarito, a top rank fighter. Bernard ended up fighting kelly Pavlik, a top rank fighter. Shane & Bhop are nothing more than pawns in the GBP chess board. No real power or authority on anything.

Highly unlikely. But this is like with Mayweather. He and his fans always say what he would do. Let Mayweather get in the ring and show. Hearing about who would murder or easily defeat Pacman in "words" only makes zero impression on me.

Exactly right. It's very normal for the founder-that is- Oscar, to give a s,mall quantity of shares to "partners" whilst holding the vast majority himself. making sure he is the boss.

I'm sure it's the same for Shafer too, although he will have more "perks" written in to his contract. He is an employee, like the others.

AND....very likely any shares they might hold [could be only a single share, 1 share} are not voting shares.
