Yes he runs. Find a copy of his fight with Tackie and you will see exactly why he used to be considered a "boring" fighter. He ran away from Tackie for the distance, as well as he does many other people he fights.
His knockouts of Judah, and Mitchell are the most recent fights that give Kostya the stigma of being a devistating power punching pressure fighter. He used to be more of a "pure boxer" believe it or not.
He recieved much criticism for his tactics in that fight, as well as running away from the great JCC.
You must be f#$king dreaming...Kostya Tszyu - running away from JCC. Let me tell you something mate, Kostya Tszyu wouldn't run away from a cruz missile if it was heading straight for his f%#king head!!
Against Tackie he stated that he wanted to put on a boxing exhibition which is exactly what he did. He can do it all whenever & wherever he pleases...the guy is already an all time great at 140 and hopefully he'll go up and fight at 147 after he demolishes Hatton in June.

Who considered him a "boring" fighter?
You and your mates?
He is and has always been one of the most dynamic Boxers in recent times, his record shows that.
The "Stigma of being a devastating puncher?" Stigma is not the right term mate.
He is the UNDISPUTED champion at his weight.
He is probably the only fighter that the rest FEAR to fight.
Normally at his age and lack of fights through injury people are lining up to finish you off as a has been.
Who do you think are confident of beating a 35 year old KT?
Lots talk around it, knowing it will not happen easily due to Pay TV contracts, promoters etc.
Once he smashes Hatton whom I am sure he regards as a well paid warm up fight we will see.
Funny if you are not from the American continent you do not seem to rate.
How many of his fights have you seen.
He is Pound for Pound top 5 with everyone.
Nice avatar by the way, thought you would be into Wrestling more.
Cheers
Whatever your views of how pensioner Bernard Hopkins won his 20th defence, his negative approach to physical conflict did make a bout that was a bit of a damp squib for the majority of spectators.
Now, I'm no real big fan of Hatton, but I know he does **** and doesn't seem to get sick of ****ing for ten rounds.
I've only seen Costa once (yes, I do know I'm not spelling his name correctly) but he seemed a ****er too. But does Costa ever run?
What I'm asking is... will they go toe-to-toe?
I might have a flutter on Ricky... 3-1 odds for him, I reckon he's got a chance. I'm not saying he'll win, I'm saying he's got a chance...
Big difference between evasion and running.
All good boxers use evasion.
Running implies on the back foot and a loser.
Tzu will not be running from the likes of Hatton I promise.
Hatton will be staring down those big right hands of Tzu all night.
Hatton has only faced mediocre talent and past it journeymen.
If he was any good he would have travelled to fight the best there is.
The truth is he has fought hand picked no hopers in his own back yard to build a record worth nothing in a division that is regarded the bottom WBU.
He is privelaged that the top Light Welterweight is prepared to travel to his patch and fight at an ungodly hour to have a warm up bout.
I would think if Ricky's still standing by 6 he has done ok.
For Tzu its a well paid warm up before he takes on the serious contenders that Ricky perhaps should have fought first.
Ricky is the lest talented of the contenders taking on the King of the Light welterweights. does not make sense to me.
All over in 3 I think
