Do Cost a Zoo ever use evasive tactics?

Whatever your views of how pensioner Bernard Hopkins won his 20th defence, his negative approach to physical conflict did make a bout that was a bit of a damp squib for the majority of spectators.

Now, I'm no real big fan of Hatton, but I know he does **** and doesn't seem to get sick of ****ing for ten rounds.

I've only seen Costa once (yes, I do know I'm not spelling his name correctly) but he seemed a ****er too. But does Costa ever run?

What I'm asking is... will they go toe-to-toe?

I might have a flutter on Ricky... 3-1 odds for him, I reckon he's got a chance. I'm not saying he'll win, I'm saying he's got a chance...

Yes he runs. Find a copy of his fight with Tackie and you will see exactly why he used to be considered a "boring" fighter. He ran away from Tackie for the distance, as well as he does many other people he fights.

His knockouts of Judah, and Mitchell are the most recent fights that give Kostya the stigma of being a devistating power punching pressure fighter. He used to be more of a "pure boxer" believe it or not.

He recieved much criticism for his tactics in that fight, as well as running away from the great JCC.

Kostya doesn't usally trade, per se. He likes to be the only one punching when he tries to land his shots. And yes, he will back up if he deems it necessary. He likes to stay at range, and jab(sometimes more of a pawing jab)so he can find a spot for the right hand. I think it might happen to some extent in this fight though, Hatton just throws alot of punches, plain and simple. For Kostya to land his big shots he'll almost certainly have to do it while Hatton is throwing. Should be a pretty good fight lol

Yeah, Hatton is - I would say "basic" but that sounds derogatory and he's pretty good even though I'm not personally a fan - a standard kind of fighter, isn't he? A ****er.

I just want to see a good fight. And Hatton goes for 12, not 10 as I typed above. Mistype.

Tackie fight was a blow out. Kostya boxed because he wanted to show that he is not just one dimensional slugger. Even after a fight Kostya admitted that he had his opponent in a dream land many times but wanted to go the distance. Also watch the Urkal fight(Urkal was 28-0 at that time) Kostya imploys his boxing tactics with excellence.

Kostya didn't run from JC, he setup his shots wonderfully, if you call that running away, then I'd like to see you run in head on without a plan or something. Ok anyways, also, his fight with Vince Phillips(fight he got knocked down and TKOed), was quite a slugger. That was back in his like 18 and 0 time or around there so I'd have to say by going by that fight, he seems to enjoy slugging and isn't afraid to anyways.

He was moving backwards the entire fight against Ben Tackie.

When was Tszyu ever considered 'boring'???

Tackie... I watched this fight a week ago & we must have been watching a different fight. Tszyu may have not been going forward all night, but he certainly wasn't running.
Tszyu dominated Tackie. He basically stood where he wanted, jabbed Tackie's head off & never got hit himself. I didn't see one article criticising Tszyu - all I saw were rave reviews saying how Tszyu used his boxing skills to perfection.

Dude... running is what Oscar did for the last few rounds against Tito. Actually turning his back & jogging away. When has Tszyu ever done that?
He didn't run against JCC. And who are the 'many others' that he ran from??? I have nearly every Tszyu fight on tape & can think of only one fight where he went backwards for a good deal of it & that was Ruelas. And while he was 'running', he was outlanding Ruelas nearly 3-1 on punch stats.
