Lets keep Cotto and Guzman opinions very separate because they are totally different. Cotto is a superstar and a warrior who has fought like 3 times since Guzmans last fight. That alone is a credit to all fans.

We shouldn't compare Cotto to Guzman, no disrespect but Guzman is more well rounded, MUCH better defense, more accurate, better boxer/ counter puncher, can fight going backwards/ against the ropes, doesn't fold under pressure and I need not mention hand speed/ foot speed.

Cotto is shouldn't be a P4P fighter for the obvious reasons:
1.He was losing to Judah up until the lowblow.
2.He had a close fight with SSM(Wich I thought SSM won)
3.He got dismantled by Margarito(Plaster or No plaster im going by what is there as of now.
4.He Ducked Paul Williams and waited for him to vacate his title to fight for his WBO.
5.He fought Michael Jennings a Nobody.
6.He actually lost to Clottey, but they robbed him
7.Pacquiao TKO'ed him.
