If Pacquiao chases Floyd around the ring does that play into Floyds style of boxing?

40 have tried pressuring/chasing Floyd, and 40 have failed. That is not the kind of style that will beat Floyd. I know Pacquiao shows better angles then most of the opponents Floyd has fought, but Floyd is taking Pacquiao extremely serious. Who wouldn't?

I think it does, I think when that bell rings in the first round Pacquiao should just stay still and wait and force Floyd to come to him. And if Floyd doesn't come to him then I guess we have a boring 12 round fight. But I do not think Pacquiao should waste any energy by trying to rush in Ricky Hatton style.

Disagree, Pacquiao would have to get close then use his side to side movements to confuse Mayweather. No way is Pacquiao doing that from a distance.

People always say that. Look at the Cotto fight. If I'd said Manny will walk through his punches and laugh off his best shots, you would probably said I'm a dumbass, because the big question before the fight was how will he react when getting punched by a full-blown WW. People said he can't afford to trade with Cotto. I said you're wrong, and if Cotto trades with Manny he will come off much worse because Cotto will always be beaten to the punch by the faster fighter. People said Cotto is superior boxer. No he isn't. He beat Cotto at his own game. Some people still think the guy can't counter-punch and can't fight going backwards, too. Now some are saying he's inexperienced in cutting off a ring? Please.

Manny does something to surprise me in every single fight I can think of. I would not be surprised if he makes Floyd look ******. Honestly.

I respect your opinions S A M & agree with a lot that you said but I going to have to disagree on one thing, Manny isnt walking through Floyds punches.. Mayweather will be the most accurate puncher Manny has ever been in the ring with. He will show him every punch in the book & I think that will be to his advantage. Manny was able to prepare for Cotto easier because there isnt much to Cotto's offensive arsenal other than a nice left hook and jab. Mayweather will not be in range for the smaller, shorter Pac.....He will not get off b4 Mayweather, and if he does he will be countered. Manny has to jump in to get off his attack and all Floyd has to do is step back and counter the shorter smaller man.

Cotto took more damage in the Margarito fight than Mayweather has his entire career well all knew Cotto would get hit a lot. Manny was faster & has better footwork than Cotto. Cotto stood right infront of Manny. Mayweather IS NOT COTTO!!! So to think that Manny is just going to one punch KO Mayweather or over power Mayweather is absurd.

Juan Manuel Marquez showed how to be effective vs Manny..when he lunges in, take a step back and counter. When Manny gets hit or attacked, he puts his gloves up and just goes backwards, Manny isnt effective fighting backwards and I see Mayweather bringing the fight to him as he did Judah. If manny has to go backwards how can his come forward style of attacking be effective? it is clearly apparent in this video below that when Manny Pacquiao is attacked or countered his offense is non existent.



In this VIDEO^^^ EVERYTIME Manny gets hit he goes into a shell. He doesnt look to counter or fight back until Marquez stops attacking him....I am sure Mayweather has noticed this....

Diaz, DLH, Hatton, & Cotto were unable to neutralize Manny's attack so Manny just kept attacking....but when you attack him he doesnt appear to be the same monster

You can say that Pacquiao will be inexperienced cutting off the ring; as we saw against Cotto...because most of Pacquiao's opponents didn't move.

lol..did not move at all huh? pac knows to cut-off the ring, it shows in the barrera fight. he's shown mercy to cotto and let him off for a while. pac is fast on his feet and he CAN cut off the ring if he wants to.
