Nah I think he has to do that. Not "chase Floyd around the ring" but cut it off and push the action.

If he hesitates and stands back he allows Floyd to dictate the range and pace which would result in an outcome similar to that of the Marquez fight. Pacquiao has a great chance to win if he shows relentless offense and doesn't allow Floyd to cut his workrate down.

I agree with all of this. Pac can have much better success than DLH and Hatton with his greater speed and accuracy, aswell as stamina.

Just because pressuring Floyd has resulted in L's for fighters before, doesn't mean it is the 'wrong' gameplan. There's different ways to pressure. You absolutely have to pressure Mayweather. People always say that. Look at the Cotto fight. If I'd said Manny will walk through his punches and laugh off his best shots, you would probably said I'm a dumbass, because the big question before the fight was how will he react when getting punched by a full-blown WW. I get the feeling mayweather will make pac be more tactical with his aggression. He will pressure at times but not by just following Floyd around. I think it will be an adjusted version of his in and out style. Pac will force action out of Floyd as well. They may bring the best out of each other.
