If Pacquiao chases Floyd around the ring does that play into Floyds style of boxing?

Floyd's style of boxing is to fight Ricky Hatton and 36-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez instead of Cotto, SSM, Margarito, Williams...

Like I've said, Mayweather will crack a smile knowing that Pacquiao couldn't deal with the movement and continue to box. Last thing Pacquiao would want to do is that.

What's the alternative -- follow him around getting potshotted?

          Don't underestimate Manny's movement.

I agree with all of this. Pac can have much better success than DLH and Hatton with his greater speed and accuracy, aswell as stamina.

Just because pressuring Floyd has resulted in L's for fighters before, doesn't mean it is the 'wrong' gameplan. There's different ways to pressure. You absolutely have to pressure Mayweather. Otherwise you're going to fight at a slow tempo and you'll definitely lose. There's no Pernell Whittaker's around nowadays to win a decision by boxing him.

Yes, VERY excited and worried at the same time. I didn't like what I saw in Guzman against Ameth Diaz.

The Pacman may have to chase Pretty Boy but when he catches him, I'm quite sure he'll "Break-down" Floyd like he did Cotto. It will be just a matter of time before Mayweather "Cave's-in" from the "Power and Might" of the Pacman. JAT

People said he can't afford to trade with Cotto. I said you're wrong, and if Cotto trades with Manny he will come off much worse because Cotto will always be beaten to the punch by the faster fighter. People said Cotto is superior boxer. No he isn't. He beat Cotto at his own game. Some people still think the guy can't counter-punch and can't fight going backwards, too. Now some are saying he's inexperienced in cutting off a ring? Please.

Manny does something to surprise me in every single fight I can think of. I would not be surprised if he makes Floyd look ******. Honestly.

Cotto is no Pretty boy Floyd Samurai

I get the feeling mayweather will make pac be more tactical with his aggression. He will pressure at times but not by just following Floyd around. I think it will be an adjusted version of his in and out style. Pac will force action out of Floyd as well. They may bring the best out of each other.
