Pac destroyed Cotto after the first round, but that's because Cotto was drawn into a fight in the centre of the ring and paid dearly for it. He didn't have the speed or defensive abilities to pull it off. When Cotto fought to survive and danced round the ring, dodging shots, Pac couldn't catch him and instead just followed him in a straight line a bit clueless.

PBF will fight in a similar way for twelve rounds, being elusive, looking for openings and accurately exploiting them like no other fighter Pac has faced before. There is no way Pac KO's Mayweather before the 6th if at all, but he will make it difficult early on until he adjusts.

Mayweather is anything but tailor made for Pac. Diaz, DLH, Hatton and Cotto were tailor made for Pac. Mayweather doesn't fight anything like them. He is more comparable to JMM and we all know how Pac did against him.

Comparing this fight to Pac/Cotto is not a good idea, as PBF and Cotto fight nothing alike, and Pac's main success came from when Cotto stood and engaged in the centre of the ring. you've compared JMM to Floyd, i thought you know well your idol. he never "Dances" in the ring. he exchanged and time Pac with punch per punch (he traded, sometimes he wins in the trade, sometimes get KD'ed lol). He never waits and potshots in the corner. He never did a "shoulder roll" defense. His counterpunching style is in trading punches and not "dancing and potshotting". the only way to beat pac is to beat him on his game, power with power and speed with his speed, but no one yet as of this time, there could be someone younger than pac.
